Cost guide

What junk removal costs in the Tri-Cities. Flat rate, not per load.

Every price on this page is the all-in total for Kennewick, Pasco, and Richland — labor, hauling, and disposal. You pick the items, you see the number, you pay it online. Nobody drives out to look at your couch first, and nobody re-prices it in your driveway.

Bookings start at $199. Free cancellation up to 24 hours before pickup — full refund.

Flat-rate vs. volume-based pricing: the difference is when you learn the price

Most junk removal is sold by volume. You’re quoted a fraction of a truck — a quarter load, a half load — and that fraction is decided by a person standing in your garage, after they’ve already made the drive. Flat rate prices the item instead. Same item, same number, decided before anyone leaves the shop.

How per-load pricing goes

  • You get a “starting at” number on the phone and nothing binding.
  • A truck shows up and someone eyeballs your pile into a fraction — quarter load, half load, three-quarter.
  • The real price lands after the truck is loaded, when your stuff is already on it.
  • Stairs, a long carry, or a heavy item can add a surcharge on top of the fraction.
  • Two companies can quote the same couch differently, because a “load” isn’t a unit anybody agrees on.

The hard part isn’t that volume pricing is always expensive. It’s that you can’t compare it to anything, and you find out the total at the exact moment you have the least leverage — when your old sectional is already in someone’s truck.

How flat rate goes here

  • You pick your items on the booking form and see the full price.
  • The price is per item, so it’s the same number whether your garage is tidy or not.
  • Labor, hauling, and disposal are already inside that number.
  • Stairs, a third-floor walkup, a garage, or the curb all cost the same: nothing extra.
  • Your card is charged at booking, so there’s no number left to argue about on pickup day.

A couch is $299 in a clean garage and $299 in a packed one. That only works because we price the item, not the space it happens to take up in a truck.

The first column is what the item costs booked on its own. The second is what it costs when it rides along on a pickup you’ve already booked.

Adding more than one item?

The first item covers the trip — truck, crew, drive time, and the dump run. After that you're only paying for the item itself, which is why a second thing on the same pickup costs so much less than a second booking.

Couch + mattress
$299 + $90
$389
Two separate pickups: $538 — you save $149
Mattress + box spring
$239 + $90
$329
Two separate pickups: $478 — you save $149
Fridge + a dresser
$309 + $50
$359
Two separate pickups: $508 — you save $149

Every item you add to an existing pickup saves you the same $149, because we’re only driving out once. Volume pricing does the opposite: more stuff means a bigger fraction of the truck, which means a bigger number.

Stairs don’t change the price. Neither does anything else.

Where the item sits is the most common surcharge in this industry and it isn’t one here. There is no stair fee, no floor fee, no long-carry fee, and no fuel surcharge. The crew does the lifting.

Stairs and third-floor apartments

No stair fee, no per-flight charge, no “that’s a two-man carry” upcharge. The crew does the lifting and the price stays what you booked.

Garages, basements, and back bedrooms

You don’t have to drag anything out to the driveway first. Tell us which room it’s in when you book and the crew walks in and gets it.

Curb, porch, or alley

Already got it outside? Same price. Leave it out, note it on the booking, and you don’t need to be home for it.

Tight hallways and narrow doors

Sectionals that split, box springs that have to go sideways, fridges through a 30-inch door — that’s the job, not an add-on.

The fine print, in full

What the number does and doesn’t include

Labor, hauling, and disposal are inside every price above. $199 is the floor for a trip — one pickup costs a truck, a driver, and a dump run whether it’s a single chair or a sectional. Your card is charged at booking and nothing is due to the crew. Got something odd or not on the list? Text a photo to (509) 416-6598 and you’ll get the price before you book.

Junk removal cost questions, answered straight

It depends on the item, not on how full a truck gets. The smallest booking is $199. A mattress or box spring is $239, a couch is $299, a sectional is $359, a large appliance is $309, and an above-ground hot tub is $549. Every one of those is the all-in total across Kennewick, Pasco, and Richland — labor, hauling, and disposal included.

Flat-rate means the price is attached to the item you’re throwing out, published before you book, and unchanged when the crew arrives. Most junk removal is sold by volume instead — a fraction of a truck, priced on site. We’re a flat-rate hauler in the Tri-Cities: every rate is on this page and on the pricing page, and you pay it online at booking rather than after the truck is loaded.

For one or two bulky items, flat rate almost always wins, because volume pricing bills you for space in a truck rather than for the work. A couch takes up a big share of a truck bed but it’s one carry, so we charge $299 for it. The bigger difference is certainty: with per-load pricing you don’t know the number until your things are already in the truck. With flat rate you knew it before anyone drove out.

The hot tub, by a wide margin — $549, because it has to be drained and cut apart in your backyard before any of it can move. After that it drops fast: a sectional is $359, a washer and dryer together is $339, a single large appliance is $309, a couch is $299, and a mattress is $239. Everything else — dresser, desk, treadmill, TV — sits at the $199 floor. Nothing on this page is a starting price.

No, and that’s deliberate. You already know whether you have a couch or a fridge. Driving out to look at it costs money, that cost goes into your quote, and it usually arrives with a salesperson who’d rather not leave empty-handed. We published the rates instead. If you’ve got something odd or not on the list, text a photo to (509) 416-6598 and you’ll get a price back before you book.

$199, and that buys a real pickup — one dining chair, one TV, one dresser, carried out by two people. A truck and a driver cost the same whether they come for a chair or a sectional, and $149 of every booking is that drive plus the dump run at the end. So $199 isn’t a fee floor we invented to pad small jobs, it’s the actual cost of sending a truck to your address. Anything else you add rides along for just the item price.

No. There is no stair fee, no floor fee, no long-carry fee, and no fuel surcharge. Curb, garage, basement, or third-floor apartment, the number you booked is the number you pay. The crew does the lifting — you don’t need to move anything to the driveway first.

Your card is charged when you book, which is what locks the price in. Cancel more than 24 hours before your pickup window and you get a full refund, no questions. Nothing is due to the crew on pickup day.
