No. A tub set into a deck, a pad, or the ground is demolition work with plumbing and framing attached, and that belongs to a contractor. If you book one by mistake we cancel and refund the whole amount — we would rather lose the job than show up and improvise around your decking.

No, and please don’t try. We drain whatever is still sitting in it, cut the shell and the cabinet into panels on the pad, and carry every piece out, waterlogged foam and all. The one thing worth doing yourself is flipping the breaker off the night before.

Flat. Hot tub removal is the job where in-person quoting does the most damage — someone stands in your backyard, names a number with a zero on the end, and waits. We publish $549 instead, which is only possible because a 2-person tub and a 6-person tub cost us close enough to the same.

Nothing of the tub. Shell, cabinet, panels, cover, and foam all go, and we sweep the pad and the route we carried it along. The concrete pad itself stays — pulling that up is a different trade. Electrical still stubbed up at the pad should be capped off by an electrician once we’re gone.
